We realize our recent subject matter has been on the shallow side.  We'll gladly go deeper, and more hallucinogenic, provided the audience wants it.  DO THEY FUCKING WANT IT?... Do they care?  Do they even realize, that whilst distilled dementia doggedly disposes of dapper dignitaries desperately dosing on Dimethyltryptamine, a diabolical Dante delivers deliberate dashes of debilitation devoid of detectable damage?  We doubt it.

That wouldn't be Ruben H. Skeet, the infamous porn king from the late 60s, would it? You must be 90 by now... Shit, we're honored you'd spend a moment of your viagra fueled orgy of a day trollin' our little ole spot. Since you're asking, we've been on vacation, mentally, but since someone has stepped up and shown interest, we'll do some coke and scrawl sumfin' fresh, just for you. Adieu.

ah shucks, was it my IP address that gave it away? or that 'ruben' contains 'ben'? don't really care that "we know it's u," can't a friend drop in once in a while to see what you're up to? names and identities are irrelevant. how's the novel coming along?

p.s. why do you say 'we' when it's just one person running this site? multiple personality issues?

Lol. 'We' adds to the grandiosity, don't you think? anyway, we (me, myself and I) love to have you drop by, of course. The novel is still in it's pre-coital stage I'm afraid...I've been distracted with other nonsense, but believe, since you asked, that I will start it on exactly the 18th of Decemeber, don't ask me why that date, because I really don't know. Hey, what do you think of my new t-shirt site btw? YouGotFatter.com Would love your input..

do you want my honest opinion about this site and your new site?

p.s. check out AIG: not exactly "the stuff that dreams are made of" but rather, a very real and possible trade one could have made and anticipated:
http://www.google.com/finance?q=aig
($30 DEC puts up 300% as of 8:45 A.M.)

I'm not saying 'I' could've made that trade, because I had my head up my ass (as usual) all morning and completely forgot about how AIG might severely react to any Dubai news, but I think you surely could've, given your past remarks on AIG. trades like that one are more realistic than that AMZN pop you emailed me about. speaking of AMZN, that's actually what i traded this morning for a measly +$200 gain, but hey, better than losing. anyway, the point i want to make is that perhaps it's more practical and realistic to aim for the more predictable opportunities than to dream about ridiculous moves like the AMZN Oct. 23rd pop, which are less predictable. can't always wait for the ideal hand to play. but in general i do in fact agree and take much from what you said about the usefulness of inaction---just waiting and watching for better opportunities rather than over-trade (or over-act) and lose more frequently. but 'better' need not be 'ideal'.

well that was just my opinion about trading and what you said about your past trading experience, how you patiently waited to trade those two bubbles (99-01 tech and 07-08 financial).

with regard to your sites, this one and your new one, my opinion is this: i visit to read the content on this site in hopes of catching something profound and thought-provoking, because after our two or so conversations, that's what i expected i'd find, but you've mainly used this site as an outlet for your creativity and own taste of humor, which is perfectly fine and healthy, but i just personally don't find most of the stuff you write humorous, and that's only because everyone's got a different sense of humor, and my taste is more for the steven wright/mitch hedberg/demitri martin kind of stuff. i don't drop by to outwardly criticise you or anything, just want to see what you're up to since we share some similar interests (stocks, writing, philosophy). personally i do think you've got "potential" to do some great work---whatever that work turns out to be. with regard to the t-shirt site, i don't know what kind of input to express other than that there may or may not be people interested in that stuff, so i guess you just have to test it to see. can't catch fish if you don't drop baited hooks into the water and give it a shot.
